WHAT IS A CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?
A Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who band together to advance commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of a community. It is a non-profit, non-partisan organization which is voluntarily financed. It is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from the Chamber membership and is guided by its bylaws.
ITS BASIC PURPOSE:
To retain the private enterprise systems with free,competitive markets.
To increase business growth and development of jobs.
To assist in the orderly growth and development of the community and its people.
